ABOUT THIS PAINTING
I bought this mask of Astro Boy in Hollywood when I was working there in the late 80s and it started to get rather beat up so I did a painting of it before it totally fell apart, which happened shortly after I finished the painting. I love the way the character of Astroboy looks and watching the trippy old cartoons recently on late night cable TV was an odd experience. Very peculiar.
