Howie Green came to international attention with the publication of his book "Jazz Fish Zen: Adventures in Mamboland".
Career highlights:
- has won over 40 design awards for his work for International clients including Sun Life Financial, Kahunaville, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Coca-Cola, CBS Television, LL Bean & PBS
- author/illustrator of Jazz Fish Zen book
- painted numerous pop art murals and public art projects
- featured in over 40 solo and group shows
- portrait 'Green Madonna Smoking' is featured in the British art book "Madonna in Art"
- won Absoult Vodka 25th anniversary art competition
- painted 3 of the Boston Cow Parade cows - two were released as collectible figures
- completed mural & art installations for Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville & Delray Beach, Florida including a full size painted school bus
- painted a series of pop art murals for the Boston Red Sox Foundation and Sun Life Financial
- portrait of rapper Biggie Smalls was used for the cover of the album "Unbelievable"
- painted series of public works for the Mayor's Office of the City of Boston
- created "Peace, Love & Music" collectible pony figure for Trail of the Painted Ponies
- created limited edition art toy figures for Maqet.com
- two of his designs were chosen as finalists in the Volkswagen Polo international design competition
- four giant golf balls for Golf Balls on Parade, Rochester, NY
