Howie Green came to international attention with the publication of his book "Jazz Fish Zen: Adventures in Mamboland". Howie has painted numerous murals and public art projects and his art has been featured in over 40 solo and group shows.

In addition he has won many design awards for his work for International clients including Sun Life Financial, Kahunaville, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Coca-Cola, CBS Television, LL Bean, PBS and others. Howie's portrait 'Green Madonna Smoking' is featured in the British art book "Madonna in Art" and he won Absoult Vodka 25th anniversary art competition. Howie painted 3 of the Boston Cow Parade cows and two were released as collectible figures. He has completed mural & art installations for Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville & Delray Beach, Florida including a full size painted school bus as well as a series of pop art murals for the Boston Red Sox Foundation and Sun Life Financial. Howie's portrait of music superstar Biggie Smalls was used for the cover of the album "Unbelievable" and he is painting an ongoing series of public works for the Mayor's Office of the City of Boston. Trail of the Painted Ponies has recently released Howie's "Peace, Love & Music" collectible pony figure and Maqet.com has released his Octi art toy figure.
