ABOUT POP ARTIST HOWIE GREEN Pop Artist Howie Green came to national attention with the publication of his book "Jazz Fish Zen: Adventures in Mamboland", a category best-seller with a global cult following. Howie's art has been featured in over 30 solo and group shows and he has painted more than 20 murals and public art projects. Howie has won over 40 awards for his work for International clients including Sun Life Financial, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Coca-Cola, CBS Television, LL Bean, PBS and others. Howie's portrait 'Madonna Smoking' is featured in the British art Book "Madonna in Art" by Mem Mehmet. Howie won an Absoult Vodka 25th Anniversary Art Competition. Howie also painted 3 of the 2006 Boston Cow Parade cows. In 2007 and 2008 Howie completed large mural & art installations for Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville & Delray Beach, FLorida as well as a series of pop art murals at the Dimock Center in Boston, MA. He also recently painted a portrait of rap superstar Biggie Smalls for the cover of the tribute album "Unbelievable". |

"The original "Floral Fantasy" painting Howie donated to our charity auction created quite a bidding war among those in attendence and eventually was sold to the highest bidder for far beyond the starting bid!
